Rainbows

Children in our 4-year-old Rainbow classes have a play-based environment which also includes learning about letters through phonics and Handwriting Without Tears. Children participate in circle time, art, music, and gross motor activites in our gym or on the playground. Some of our favorite units include dinosaurs, space, and community helpers. Every other week a STEM teacher works in our STEM room with small groups to enhance learning. 

This is a three day a week program. There is also an option for a fourth day in our Discovery classroom. It is a hands-on class that focuses on science, cooking, and STEM. 

Children have the option to stay for Lunch Bunch. Lunch Bunch is from 11:35-2:45. During this time they socialize with other children in the preschool, create art, have lunch and play games. On Discovery Day children have Book Club for Lunch Bunch.
